Heather Pierce Musco is HEATHERVOX, the vocal coach and vocal producer that San Francisco Bay Area bands, solo artists and music industry professionals turn to for full-spectrum support. She also serves international artists, speakers and entrepreneurs through virtual vocal coaching. As masterful in the recording studio as she is at the helm of a live stage show, Heather's lifetime of music performance and twenty years of training singers and speakers gives her unparalleled ability to deliver powerful solutions to each voice she handles.

Heather has worked with a myriad of teachers and studied vocal technique in school and outside of it, from very traditional to modern. Her favorite source of knowledge has come from the proverbial road — traveling with bands, being in the wings and backstage during clients’ live performances, and logging studio time into the wee hours when magic and fatigue are in a fragile dance with each other. Her teaching method is the product of all of these diverse experiences, combining her intellectual technical training and her physical and emotional experience as a live performer, recording artist and vocal coach.

She is an expert vocal producer — a true ally to the vocalist alongside their recording engineer and music producer in tracking sessions. Heather has been musical director to bands prepping for tour as well as in staged theatre productions. She works with actors and dancers to uplevel their singing ability and is equally gifted in helping instrumentalists add vocal control to their skill set. She assists authors and entrepreneurs in adding variation and nuance to their speaking voices, resulting in audiences and clientele easefully aligning with their unique message.

Heather weaves a positive mindset practice into her client sessions, as she believes that the process is where all the gold lies. Patience and kindness are key to opening new portals for transformation and lasting change. Heather’s powerful combination of vocal mastery and high-level intuition consistently elicit incredible vocal performances from the artists and personalities she works with.
