studio policies
24-hour cancellation policy
To cancel or reschedule an existing lesson you must give at least 24 hours’ notice by phone or email, or you will be charged for the missed session in full. No exceptions. Scheduling a lesson is your acceptance of this policy.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled lesson. Extra time cannot be added for late arrivals.

Free, two-hour street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood (3rd, *Mariposa, 18th, + Tennessee Streets). *NOTE: Mariposa Street is a TOW-AWAY zone during baseball season (4 to 8pm Late March – September). CLICK HERE for SF Giants Baseball Schedule.

Heather Pierce Vox + Music is located at 2002 3rd Street (cross street is Mariposa) in the Dogpatch/Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco.
When you get to the front door of the building, look up “HP Vox + Music” on the intercom system, dial in, and I’ll buzz you up to the studio (Unit 218 is located on the third floor).
Via Public Transportation
Take the T-Third Street Metro line to the Mariposa Street stop. Exit and walk directly across the street to the large, grey building on the corner of 3rd and Mariposa. More info on the T-Line here: http://www.sfmta.com/cms/mroutes/tthirdsvc.htm
Take the 22 Fillmore bus line and exit on 18th and 3rd Streets. Walk down 3rd towards Mariposa. The large, grey building is on the corner of 3rd and Mariposa on the right hand side.
Take BART to 16th Street Mission Station. Board the 22 Fillmore bus going eastbound and follow the bus directions listed above.
Driving from the South Bay
Take 280N to the Mariposa Street exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Mariposa, continue four blocks to 3rd Street. The building will be on your right hand side on the corner.
Driving from the East Bay
Take 80W and get on the Bay Bridge heading west. Once over the bridge, stay in the lefthand lane and take the 5th Street exit (off to the left). At the bottom of the exit take a soft left onto Harrison. Go one block and make a left onto 6th Street. Go 2 blocks and go straight onto Highway 280S.
Take the first exit off 280S, which is Mariposa/18th Street. Go straight to the top of the exit and make a left onto 18th Street. Make a left onto Tennessee Street. Make a right onto Mariposa Street. The building will be on your right hand side on the corner of 3rd Street.
Driving from the North Bay
From Lombard Street, turn right onto Divisadero Street and follow up over the hill to Golden Gate Street. Turn left and follow Golden Gate all the way to the end, near 6th and Market. Continue right across Market and drive south on 6th, straight onto 280S.
Take the first exit off 280S, which is Mariposa/18th Street. Go straight to the top of the exit and make a left onto 18th Street. Make a left onto Tennessee Street. Make a right onto Mariposa Street. The building will be on your right hand side on the corner of 3rd Street.
